Eating out

It's always difficult to recommend places to eat as people have very different preferences, however, here are a few of our personal choices...

In Lyme Regis try the Rock Point Inn, Pilot Boat, Swim, Lyme Bay Cafe, Harbour Inn and the Black Dog Tea Rooms. There is also the excellent Strawberry Tree restaurant serving Spanish tapas; booking advised

Locally try The Anchor at Seatown and the Hive Beach Cafe, both right on the beach

...and we think some of the best ice cream locally is from Baboo Gelato in Lyme Regis, West Bay and other locations, all locally made with local ingredients

Walking

There are so many walks locally, from a wander down to town along the River Lym to a full blown all day cliff walk along the south west coast path it's hard to know where to start. There are some walk leaflets in the Cottage and some ideas can be found at these web sites
